Paris Part 1

On our way home from England we decided to spend a few days in Paris.  Last June we had been in Paris for 6 hours and did a bus tour of sorts so I was wanting more!  My wonderful husband agreed to a few days in Paris, I'm one lucky lady :-)
Walking around Paris in the morning.

Meek at Notre Dame

Me at Notre Dame (I've been trying to teach Meek how to better compose photos)

The front of Notre Dame

There is so much detail on this cathedral.

We actually went inside because it's FREE, thank you Catholic Church!

The details were exquisite.

Some a tad old school over the top Catholic.

The money it most have cost to create such a beautiful cathedral is mind boggling; to think it was nearly torn down years ago.

Walking around Paris we caught our first glimpse of the Eiffel tower,

One place I cannot wait to go see in a few days the louvre

Arch outside the Louvre.

Walking past the louvre to catch our hop-on-hop-off bus.

Listening to some narration and music as we drive through the streets of Paris.

Paris was busy getting ready for the final stage of the Tour de France.

Walking around Paris.

Such a beautiful city.

WE had dinner at this little plaza, while Meek was paying the bill, I noticed this guy setting this contraption up.

Once set he admired his handy work and the couple beyond it took a break from making out to observe what he had done.

Then he walked over to a bench and sat down, took out a notebook and started to jot things down in it. I assume he was making notes on people's observations of it.
Notice the couple lost interest very quickly.
